NVW Volunteer Coffee Break Program

Want a new way of recognizing volunteers during National Volunteer Week? In recognition of that contribution, organizations can implement a Volunteer Coffee Break coupon program. This program has been successfully done at Volunteer Campbell River, Volunteer Cowichan and Volunteer Salt Spring Island.

How does the program work?

  • Your organization seeks local businesses (coffee shops and restaurants) willing to sponsor a cup of coffee to volunteers during NVW.
  • Your organization produces Coffee Break Coupons for a free cup of regular drip coffee made available to volunteer engaging organizations at no charge, for distribution to their volunteers as a token of thanks for valued skills, time, and energy.
  • Sponsors may substitute tea or other beverage at their discretion.
  • Coupons are a single use universal coupon, redeemable only NVW at participating volunteer-valuing coffee shops and restaurants throughout your area. See sample coupon.
