SURVEY RESULTS: Managing Volunteers During Covid-19
Volunteering during the COVID-19 Pandemic is not volunteering as usual.
A short survey was sent to all organizations across BC and the results show that the pandemic has drastically changed the way volunteers are managed. Along with lack of funding as a top concern, organizations are worried about retaining volunteers, loss of senior manpower and transitioning to virtual volunteer management. Check out our Survey Snapshot on some of the common challenges during the pandemic.
Volunteer BC has an important role to play. We will continue to be an advocate and collaborate with like-minded partners and develop resources and other training materials based on some of the concerns shared with us.
