Employer Supported Volunteering (ESV)

How do we support employers with their ESV programs? Do you know what they need from us? Have you worked with them before?  Attend the ESV Panel and find out more about the positive impact their programs have on their staff and what they need from us in the future. Representatives from TELUSMountain Equipment CoopBC Lottery Corporation and more will share some of their ESV initiatives.

ESV Resources

Volunteer Canada offers a variety of resources on ESV Programs. There is a need for companies to reconsider traditional employee community engagement program parameters and expand their definition of what constitutes volunteering.

Sovereign's Medal for Volunteers

Celebrate the great volunteers who selflessly offer their time and effort to contribute to your community. The Sovereign’s Medal for Volunteers, from the Governor General of Canada, recognizes exceptional volunteer achievements of Canadians.

The Governor General is aiming to recognize as many great volunteers as possible during Canada’s 150th year. Nominations can be submitted year round.
